What does not work yet
Encrypted RAR archives cannot be opened yet, and neither can RAR archives split into parts (.part1.rar, .r00). Scissor Zip tells you when that is the case instead of failing silently.
Questions about Extract RAR
Are my files uploaded?
No. The archive is built or opened by an engine that runs inside your browser tab. Your files stay on your device, and the page works without a connection after the first visit.
Can I open a RAR on a Mac or iPhone?
Yes. It works in Safari, Chrome and Firefox on any device, with nothing to install.
Does it open password-protected RAR files?
Not yet. The engine reads RAR's own format but not its encryption. 7-Zip, WinRAR, Keka and The Unarchiver can.
Can I turn the RAR into a zip?
