Your files
Files and archives you open, create or convert in Scissor Zip are processed entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We cannot see them. Passwords you type for encrypted archives are used by the engine in your tab and are never stored or sent.
What we collect
Anonymous usage counts: which pages and tools are opened, whether a job worked, how long it took, rough file size ranges and archive formats, plus the browser's language. No file names, no file contents, no passwords, no IP-based profiles and no cookies. Error reports contain the kind of error and where in the code it happened, never the error message itself, which can contain a file name.
Forms
When you send feedback, a bug report or a message, we receive what you write, the email address if you give one, and an optional screenshot. We use it only to answer you and improve Scissor Zip, and delete it when it is no longer needed. It is stored by our own customer care service, not by a third party.
Storage on your device
The site caches its own files so it works offline, and remembers if you dismissed the language suggestion. It stores none of your files.
